Customize Your Practice
Intertwining the old and new is an essential part of my teaching philosophy. With the abundance of knowledge out there, I focus on making things easy to understand.
In 2013, my training began within the traditional yogic communities of San Francisco. I quickly realized I wanted to customize my practice by intertwining it with present-day health protocols. Here’s how I did it:
I spent years exploring well-researched applications from around the world specializing in meditation, breathwork, calisthenics, biomechanics, and of course, yoga. Testing and choosing what worked best, I wove these new realms of information into the practice. The result—a variety of routines that build up both the body and mind, and can fit within a one hour time frame.
My registered yoga teacher (RYT) certification emphasizes updated physical therapy principles to keep the joints working for years to come. I am further studying calisthenics, another dynamic form of bodyweight movement. Other influences include the teachings of Laruga Glaser, Ty Landrum, Connor Harris, and Kelly Boys.
